Si Cepat - is a reinterpretation of the Cirebon rickshaw by utilizing a contemporary and straightforward approach based on concerns about the decrementing number of becak users as the times move. Predicated on this background, Si Cepat was born as an expeditious solution by updating characters - lines, shapes, and materials that increase the value and function of the rickshaw itself.
Several amendments were made, starting from transmuting the corners of the rickshaw from sharp to rounded as a preventive measure against the threat of a collision that could injure the driver or other conveyances.
Furthermore, a few additions were made, such as a hook/handrail area as a pedestal for the utilizer when going up, a turn signal/blinking light as information for the rickshaw when it is about to turn, a storage box at the back of the seat, and the most crucial thing is the vicissitude in the “impression” of the old-school rickshaw to be a trendy one.
